But what are they? Do they work the same wonders for every person? This is an excellent question indeed. One of the best ways to find out would be to make a list of all ab exercises you know, and then test each one out for a few weeks. What do you think of that? I knew it! You hate that idea! Well, that is only natural. After all, most of us want to get right to the point right? This means finding the best ab routine in town and putting it to work. This my friends is why the pros have provided the top stomach workouts just for you. Do you think you can handle the burn?
While searching the internet I learned everything I needed to know. This is how I tend to gain new knowledge and professional input. It's all about knowing which websites to trust. This time I was searching high and low for the toughest, and most beneficial stomach exercises. Here's a quick list of some to get you on the right track; sit-ups, crunches, leg raises, bicycle routine, knee-ups, and the new-age exercise ball.
So now we have a brief list of common stomach exercises, BUT, which one will work the best? Well, I have my opinion, which is based on trial and error. I have tried every single one of these stomach exercises for months at a time, and some for years. Forget about traditional sit-ups. I never cared for these, nor do I think they work as well as crunches. They typically leave me with a sore lower-back.
Then there's leg raises. You can do a variation of these lying on the floor, or you can use the equipment at the gym to get the full burning effect. They work well and develop your entire ab area.
Then there's that popular bicycle routine you do while lying on you back. With your knees up, you act like you're riding a bicycle, bringing your elbows to the opposing knees. This is an awesome ab workout and produces great results.
Finally there's that nifty exercise ball everyone is raving about. This sucker is ideal for crunches. It provides a very strenuous stomach exercise that gets the job done right. Definitely my favorite of the bunch!
We all require regular stomach exercises. At least if we want a toned tummy and strong midsection. Give one of these ab routines a shot and see what you think. There's a stomach exercise for everyone.
